Sam Flynn

Born to Kevin Flynn and Jordan Canas, Sam Flynn is played by actor Garrett Hedlund. His allies are the Tron system, Quorra and Kevin Flynn, with Alan Bradley his ally in the real world.

Sam’s father Kevin has experienced things no other human has, seeing a strange digital world and being attacked by his own creations. The 27-year-old son of a famous video game creator, ENCOM CEO and pioneer, Sam’s mother passed away unexpectedly a short time after Sam was born.

In 1989, though, Sam’s father was on the verge of a major discovery when he disappeared without a trace. Only a young boy when his father mysteriously disappeared, Sam Flynn was left in the care of his grandparents.

The largest legal shareholder of ENCOM – since inheriting his father’s fortune following his disappearance – Sam is a recluse.

Performing stunts like base jumping, parachuting and motocross, rebellious Sam Flynn is a daredevil.
