TRON Derezzed Daft Punk

The TRON Derezzed Daft Punk music video starts out with Kevin Flynn, played by Jeff Bridges, saying “I kept dreaming of a world I’ll never see... and then one day, something happened... something extraordinary... I got in!”

Whereupon starts the iconic TRON Derezzed Daft Punk song that we’ve all been waiting for.

The music video features Garrett Heldund as the character Sam Flynn saying “This can’t be good... what am I supposed to do?”. This question is answered by Beau Garretts character Gem, a Siren, who says “Survive”.  The video features both disc duels and TRON light cycle battles in which the Game Grid players are “derezzed” when they lose their battles. The TRON Derezzed Daft Punk music plays over the top of all of these action packed sequences of the upcoming TRON Legacy movie.

Micheal Sheen’s character, Castor, is seen whirling a luminescent cane and shouting “Change the scheme, alter the mood... electrify the boys and girls if you’d be so kind”. Daft Punk can be seen in the background, in a cameo role, as DJ’s pumping out the music at the End of the Line Club.

The TRON Derezzed Daft Punk song and official score are out on 6 December 2010.

The Disney TRON Legacy movies hits UK cinemas on 17 December 17, 2010, in Disney Digital 3D and IMAX 3D.
