Toy Story 2

Toy Story 2 sees the return of Woody, Buzz and all your friends from Toy Story in a new adventure. Andy goes to Cowboy Camp, leaving the toys free in his bedroom having a ball, until an obsessive toy collector arrives and takes a liking to Woody. After discovering he is a rare collectable toy, Woody is taken to Al’s apartment where he meets Jessie the Cowgirl as well as Bullseye and Stinky Pete. What will happen to Woody? Does he manage to escape and get back to Andy’s room? You’ll have to watch the film to find out!

Toy Story 2 was originally made as a direct-to-video film however when the quality of the film was revealed to Pixar executives the decision was made to put Toy Story 2 into theatres. This meant expanding the plot and lengthening Toy Story 2 to 90 minutes.

Toy Story 2 made just over $485 million far over-reaching Toy Story and every other animated film other than Lion King (which has since been eclipsed by Finding Nemo). It has been one of the most warmly received animated films ever made with critics and cinema goers alike giving glowing reviews. Rotten Tomatoes, the notoriously critical film review website gave Toy Story 2 a 100% approval rating one of the only a few animated films to receive such an honour
