Slinky Dog maintain his faith in Woody in Toy Story 1 until Woody shows severed Buzz’s arm through Sid’s window to the toys at Andy’s window, but Slink is also the first to say that Woody was not the criminal all the toys though he was.

Toy Story 2 sees Slinky Dog in the rescue party who go after Woody when he is kidnapped. Slinky lets his friends use his coil as a useful tool to help his friends!
