Toy Story Jessie
Toy Story’s Jessie is an exuberant, rough-and-tumble cowgirl doll who’s always up for a daring adventure to help critters in need. First seen in Al McWhiggin’s, the obsessive toy collectors, apartment it is revealed that Jessie , Woody and a horse names Bulleye are all based on the same television show, “Woody’s Roundup.” Toy Story’s Jessie hides behind her bubbly and cheerful personality, but we soon learn that Jessie was abandoned and put in storage by her once much loved owner
Toy Story’s Jessie is very afraid of being put back in storage and gets slightly hysterical when moving to Japan is mentioned. Woody and Jessie become friends and by the end of the movie both Jessie and Bullseye are adopted into the Andy’s room toy family.
With Andy’s imminent departure hanging over the toys, during Toy Story 3 Jessie is afraid of being abandoned by her owner once again. She takes charge, insisting that the toys take control of their own destinies. But is it a decision they’ll later regret?
