4th Annual Great British Toontown Art Contest competition (the "Competition") will run
from
21 December 2007 until
31 January 2008.
1. The promoter of this Competition is
The Walt Disney Internet Group, part of The Walt Disney Company Limited, 3 Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith, London W6 9PE, United Kingdom ("
Disney").
2. This Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom and Europe only, of any age, excluding employees or agents of Disney or its related, affiliated or subsidiary companies, or anyone else connected to this Competition and/or their immediate family.
3. To enter this Competition, entrants are required to create an artwork based on the theme "What I like most in Toontown". Entrants may choose which Toontown characters to represent in the artwork but the characters must be a character from Disney’s Toontown. Entries must be completed on the "Entry form" printed out from www.toontown.co.uk/artcontest4.html. Multiple entries may be sent but only one entry per person. All submitted entries become the property of Disney (please also see clause 14 below).
4. Entrants under 18 years of age must obtain authorisation from a parent or guardian before entering this Competition. The Entry Form must be signed by that parent or guardian. Disney reserves the right to request evidence of such authorisation and to invalidate entries or the prize winner(s) if the appropriate authorisation is or was not provided.
5. No purchase is necessary to enter this Competition.
6. All entries for this Competition must be received no later than last post received on 31 January 2008 at the address on the Entry Form to be eligible for selection. Only entries submitted by post with entry details completed accurately and legibly will be accepted. Disney does not accept responsibility for lost, damaged, illegal or delayed entries. Proof of sending entry is not proof of receipt by Disney.
7. There are four age categories for this Competition: 0-6 years old, 7-9 years old, 10-12 years old and 13 years old and older. There will be one winner and two runners up awarded per age category, as judged by Disney or its agents from all complete entries on
4 February 2008. The judge's decision is final and no discussion will be entered into.
8. All prize winners will receive confirmation that they have won a prize via letter sent to the entrant or their parent or guardian or by telephone or email. If Disney is unable to contact a winner within 8 days, Disney reserves the right to select other winners. A list of the winners' abbreviated names may be published once the winners have been contacted.
9. Personal information about prize winners will be shared with Disney's agents to the extent necessary for prizes to be delivered to the prize winners. Any such data will then be deleted after the prize has been awarded. Disney and/or Disney's agents will not use this personal information for marketing or advertising purposes nor transfer it to a third party.
10. All prizes are non-transferable. No cash alternative is available for any prize. In the unlikely event that a prize should become unavailable, Disney reserves the right to substitute a prize which it may determine as being of equal value.
11. Entrants accept that if they win, Disney will have the right, without additional payment or permission, to use their abbreviated name for the purposes of announcing the winners of this Competition and they may be required to participate in post-event publicity.

13. Prize Details:
For each of the four age categories (0 – 6 years, 7 – 9 years, 10 – 12 years and 13 years and older):- one first prize – a Disney Tin Art Kit valued at £10.
- two runners up prizes - a Disney Pencil Pack valued at £5
14. Release
Disney wishes to display entries to this Competition in the ToonClub magazine and on the Toontown website
www.toontown.co.uk. In consideration for Disney’s acceptance of a Competition entry:
- the entrant assigns to Disney all rights of whatsoever nature including all copyright in the Competition entry for use in whole or in part by all means in any media in all formats (whether now known or hereafter created) including without limitation world wide web, internet or other similar system throughout the world without time limit and without liability or acknowledgement to the entrant;
- Disney is granted the right to use and reproduce the entrant’s first name, general location (for example "London") and copies of the artwork on the website listed above;
- The entrant warrants that nothing in the artwork will infringe the copyright or any other right of any person, be defamatory or be calculated to bring any third party into disrepute;
- All moral rights in the Competition entry are waived.
