€17,387 will help young people rescue the ‘Toby’ in the waters of the Philippines and Indonesia.
We are encouraging children around the world to help put a stop to cyanide fishing, which is destroying the fragile coral reef habitat that’s home to tropical fish like the Black-saddled Toby.
With support from you, we will bring the Toby story from Cuyo Island to other islands in the Philippines and neighbouring Indonesia to help children find their voice and speak out against cyanide fishing.
We will also use the internet portals to educate globally about how the demand for aquarium fish is fuelling the problem and contributing to the destruction of reef habitats.
