SYLVIA
GRIFFIN Her jazz experience includes performances at the Donmar Warehouse, Ronnie Scott's, Piccadilly Theatre, and with Max Jaffa in Scarborough. Sylvia was honoured to be the soprano soloist in the world premiere of Death Of The Author by Audrey Riley and the soprano soloist in Ivor Novello's Songbook at Ilfracombe. She spent three seasons at the Barbican, performing in the Lost Musicals series: Du Barry Was A Lady, Carnival, Allegro, Jubilee, Knickerbocker Holiday, Sweet Adeline, and New Girl In Town. Sylvia played the part of the Wicked Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, has performed cabaret in Cannes, played Anne Boleyn amongst other characters, in The Natural Theatre's touring production of Henry VIII - Diary Of A Serial Killer, and Sister Sophia in The Sound Of Music at West Yorkshire Playhouse. Sylvia has recently been part of the company of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music at The Royal National Theatre, directed by Sean Mathias; and Sweeney Todd at the Haymarket Theatre, Leicester, directed by Paul Kerryson. Sylvia is a member of the original London cast of Disney's Beauty and the Beast here at the Dominion, where she understudied the role of Mrs Potts and subsequently played the role for three months. |Create
