FENWICK After leaving school she went into pantomime and at seventeen played The Star To Be in the first National Tour of Annie followed by Cabaret at the Theatre Royal Plymouth, in which she played Helga. She understudied and played Audrey in The Little Shop of Horrors at the Comedy Theatre and then played Audrey at the Library Theatre, Manchester and Side by Side in Dublin. Other West End work includes Dolores in Spin of the Wheel at the Comedy Theatre, Les Misérables at the Palace, where she played the Factory Girl and covered and played Fantine, the original production of Aspects of Love at the Prince of Wales, Sam in Viva Espana at the Arts, Merrily We Roll Along, directed by Julia McKenzie, at the Shaftesbury, A Cavalcade of Coward at the Piccadilly, Copacabana at the Prince of Wales, Fields of Ambrosia at the Aldwych, and Annie at the Victoria Palace. She has appeared in several West End Theatre Workshops - The Baker's Wife, in which she played Simone, directed by Trevor Nunn, and the Narrator in I Can Hear The Flowers Singing. Television credits include - "Quiet as a Nun", "Day of the Triffids", "Solid Sou"l, "Pebble Mill", "Stage by Stage", Tenth Anniversary Concert of Les Misérables, "The Royal Variety Show '98" and many others. Susie can be heard on the Cast Albums of Aspects of Love, the Symphonic recording of Les Misérables and Fields of Ambrosia. She has made many commercial jingles and sang the theme song for "G'Day Summer Bay" for ITV. She has made many appearances as a guest vocalist on concert tours throughout the country and the West End. She is happily married to a Musical Director and has an eight year old daughter. |Create
