MICHAEL
KOSARIN
(Music Supervisor/Incidental Music Arranger)
Is music supervisor for all the worldwide productions of Beauty and the Beast. He is the
conductor/vocal arranger on the Disney animated feature film Hercules. Kosarin served as
music director/conductor for Broadway's Beauty and the Beast and The Secret Garden (on
which he was also vocal arranger), and was the conductor for Grand Hotel. Among his other
Broadway credits are Nine, Marilyn, Into the Woods, Anything Goes, Jerome Robbins'
Broadway, and A Chorus Line, for which he was also music director of the world tour. His
off-Broadway credits include Mayor (music director/conductor /arranger) and Das Barbecü
(music supervisor). He was the pianist and associate producer/arranger of the gold album
Carly Simon -- My Romance and composed the song "What Has She Got" with Ms.
Simon.
