ANNALENE BEECHEY Belle Annalene studied performance in Dublin and last year finished playing Cosette in the West End production of Les Misérables at the Palace Theatre. When only 19 years old, she understudied and played the part of Christine in the West End production of Phantom of the Opera. Annalene also played Belle opposite Anton Rogers in A Christmas Carol, understudied and played Julie Jordan in Cameron Mackintosh's Carousel (Shaftesbury Theatre) understudied and played Cosette in Les Misérables in the Dublin and Edinburgh productions. For television, she played Roisin O'Brien in The Bill, appeared in Les Misérables - 10th Anniversary (Royal Albert Hall) and as part of the Euro '96 closing ceremony (Wembley Stadium). In Dublin she has twice been a soloist for the Bank of Ireland/RTE Proms at the RDS Concert Hall. Her recordings include Lucy in Nosferatu by Bernard J.Taylor, Narrator in Inconnu by Andrew Cox and Greta on the CD single of Ratcatcher. Annalene was fortunate to be asked to play Cosette in the concert version of Les Misérables at Chelmsford's Hylands Park in 1997 in front of 18,000 people and again at Cardiff Castle last June. Last Christmas, she sang as a soloist with the Royal Air Force Massed Bands touring around the UK.
