Theatre: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Blondel, Chess, Starmania/Tycoon, Heathcliff, King David. Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida opened on Broadway in March 2000 and received four 2000 Tony Awards, including Best Music and Lyrics.

TV/Films: Three More Men in a Boat, some of Aladdin, The Lion King, The Road to El Dorado, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (recent video), Jesus Christ Superstar (original in 1973 and recent video), Evita.

Books: Oh What a Circus (first volume of gripping memoirs, raunchy bits coming up in volume 2), Treasures of Lord's (book on cricket memorabilia), 27 Heartaches' Cricketers' Almanac's, Evita, over 30 books on British pop music (in collaboration with brother Jonathan, Paul Gambaccini and Mike Read). Born in leafy Buckinghamshire, England, 1944. Knighthood, Oscars, etc. Vaguely remembers winning a Tony or two.
