Wrote the orchestrations for Aladdin, Pocahontas and Hercules, as well as the film version of Beauty and the Beast. As a composer, he scored the ABC-TV movies Cinderella and Annie as well as the Academy Award winning short subject, Trevor. Other Broadway credits include Big River (for which he received a Drama Desk Award). Footloose, and How to Succeed!(the revival)
